My first attempt at making a custom alphabet, much less making a font out of a custom alphabet. I'm rather pleased with how well it went. ^^
This font is based off of Common Radian, an alphabet used by characters in The Peacock King [link] . It's supposedly a more functional and standardized version of Radian versus Poetic Radian, which is as much an art form as a system of writing. They... resemble each other. X3
So yeah, this was done as an exercise in wankery as much as providing any actual use to me and ~irk. It was one of those things that just snowballed; "OMG I should make an alphabet" to "OMG of course there would be a Poetic version versus a common form... I'm going to need to track this in the wiki" to "HEY NEAT ... I SHOULD MAKE A FONT".
... I should touch on what those squiggles ARE.
So, the language is phonetic, so the characters don't always match up to the Latin alphabet assignments. There's a chart here: [link]) which shows what characters sound like what. I suppose a character map will be necessary to help figure out where the fizzuck they are in the font. ; ... Or I could make a chart for the wiki. >_> I HATE MYSELF... I will do just that in a bit! ANYWAY. So the top set is the lowercase assignments to "the quick brown fox jumped over the lazy sleeping dog", and the second set are the ones mapped to the capital letters in the quick brown fox series. Third set is numbers, and the last three are the Radian equivalents of - , " , and ?. They don't have commas or periods. ... Crap, I left ' out of the preview. ' is a hard stop, such as abbreviating "Tesynnodai" to "'dai", or at the end of a sentence.
tl;dr IT'S NEAT FEEDBACK APPRECIATED <3
ETA: Updated the preview and fix't the 7. Minor glyph copy error.
