Dude guys Windows 7 is shaping up to be rather nice. It's an improvement over Vista even as a beta (so far) (also, I'm rather fond of my version of Vista -- it's NEVER crashed, and who the hell has heard of a Winderz box with 100% uptime?!). I *gasp* might even pony up for W7 Ultimate when it ships.

The neat thing I've discovered about W7 so far is that it's not the typical increase in resource-hogging that Windows has historically been. I'm a little cheesed about Google Chrome not working yet, but other than that all my programs have installed and are running smoothly. I'm actually quite impressed with how well it's doing as a beta, and am looking forward to the final release!
